Sa Doa

This is a bitter shoot from a tree, eaten steamed or boiled, with chilli paste sauce.

Once you get use to the bitter taste, you start to appreciate it more and seek it out. It's easy to find in fields and borders and in scrublands around temples. Serve it as an authentic Thai vegetables to your guests.
